Better than the diesel generator would be a LNG or LPG type. They are pretty common around here and with a 100 gallon tank you can run that generator for a long time. They also can be built into enclosures that reduce noise.

Not so fast... SunEagle is in Florida. Rabbit is in Canada. That makes a lot of difference.... small propane tanks in cold weather have trouble vaporizing. You may need to bury the tank or use some sort of heating device. Note: insulation on the tank makes the problem worse... the tank gets cold during vaporization and the tank needs to extract warmth from the environment (if there is any in Canada in the winter).

Good point. Cold weather will be an issue for either propane or diesel.
