  • Hi everyone i'm a rookie on saling solar street light hope to learn something here

This is my first time to register a foreign forum. For one thing i want to learn something real from different aspects on solar street lights or the view out of china, and i just graduated from academy, now i'm a foreign clerk, but i know a little about this product, this industry, just a rookie.Inadvertently I find this forum on the google,it's a surprise for me, Actually I like visiting the forum a lot during my school life.uh one more place will be visited in my later daily life. And practicing my English is my another reason to come here.As a foreign clerk,English is basic, and all you can know form my words, how bad my English is. Anyway,i'm happy here ,and hope to have a progress here.Tks.

Hello Blake, and welcome to Solar Panel Talk!

Your English is not so bad. Some of the US members do worse.

Are you wanting to manufacture Solar Street Lights?

Basically, what you need to know is:
          * Basic math. There is a formula to replace each watt that is consumed.
          * Differences in types of PV Panel, Charge / Load Controllers, Storage / Batteries, Bulbs / Fixtures.
          * Basic Advanced (common sense in ) Structural Engineering.
          * Aesthetic Desires of your Consumers.
          * Local Electrical, Structural and Zoning codes.

Those are the basics... but there is more to it.

          Good Luck!

I would like to ask everyone (may you can hep me), how to create a charger for laptop by using solar panel?
What the material I should prepare for this? thanks in advance
