        The key will be who owns the Patent. On one hand you have brilliant scientist like Nikola Tesla the father of modern AC electrical generation and transmission. He died penniless and Westinghouse and JP Morgan hold all his Patents.

        Then you have Thomas Edison a decent scientist but brilliant Business man who's family today owns the 4th largest company in the USA, and 7th largest globally, GE. FWIW China now has the Worlds top 3 companies ICBC, China Construction Bank, and Agricultural Bank of China. The USA largest company and 4th world's largest is Berkshire Hathaway.
