  • Q: Concentrating Solar Power (Panels etc)

Couldn't help but be impressed by http://www.infiniacorp.com/infinia-solar-system.html, a 3kW system @ 24% efficiency promising higher yields.

Wonder how appropriate this is for residential use? It is using a Stirling engine

    Anyone?

    Sincerely,
    Adam

Active tracking - mech parts to maintain
    Mirror, maybe needs weekly cleaning
this "25 year service life Zero Maintenance Helium working fluid " is sketchy, there is no way I can belive you could possibly seal helium into a gadget, heated and cooled for 5 years, and not have it leak. Helium is the leakiest stuff around.

The 3KW for the day, is nice.
