CALSEIA has a listing of the "Type" classification of a number of panels, as well as what panel types and roof conditions are Class A for each mounting system. Presumably, what they show can be traced back to some kind of official statement or document, if needed. For example, Q Cells are listed as Fire Class C on their data sheet, but by referencing the official CSA listing, evidence of Type 1 classification can be found and they can be used with a mounting system that has tested Class A with Type 1 panels.
LG is interesting, since CALSEIA doesn't have information on most of their models and the LG300NIC-B3 (a common panel lately) is only Type 2. Type 2 on IronRidge, for instance, is only Class A when installed flush mount on a steep slope roof. Flush on a flat roof or with a tilted mount anywhere, it may not be approved. However, with Unirac Roof Mount mounting, it could achieve Class A even on low slope. The UL file for LG doesn't provide as much information as the CSA file for the Q Cells does, so I guess official documentation would need to come from UL on request or LG directly.
