    Heart Interface Link 1000V Manual

    Hi all,

    Ive got a Xantrex 458 with a Heart Interface Link 1000V remote. Does anyone have a manual they could send me. Even if its screen shots of the pages. What i am looking for mostly is the advanced funtion values section.

    I have a manual i downloaded off the Xantrex website but its different than the one ive got. The manual i have lists 16 functions. The box i have has 19 functions and i dont know if the first 16 line up and i dont want to change the wrong thing.

    Does anyone have an old old old manual? Thanks in advance.

      Last week the set button on my Link 1000 depressed forever. I found a replacement 1000V from a friend but no user manual. I did find web posts that say set up is the same as the 1000. A person I know had a different version Link 1000 which had the 16 functions. His was older production than mine. Mine has 18 functions. I'm old they are the same as his with two added. Xantrex has the manuals on their web page for the latest but mfgr discontinued Link 1000 but not the 1000V. I contacted them Friday morning and customer service said they passed the 1000V manual to tech support to send to me but they haven't done that yet. I will follow up Monday on this. You probably could download their 1000 manual and consider using that until you get the 1000V manual.

      The conductor color code for the 1000V is different from the 1000. I need the manual assuming it has the shunt-1000V conductor diagram with the colors noted. I too fear connecting to the wrong pin out with the wrong voltage.

          Xantrex Response for 1000V

          Coincidentally, this came in (on a Sunday...wow!!) from Xantrex support. It answers you question about the manual which I downloaded it on my PC. If you want it drop me a note to the address in my previous post. It also answered my question about color code for the conductors.

          Terminal strip

          Pin 1: Black (Gnd or system neg)
          Pin 2: Green (shunt sense lead - load side)
          Pin 3: Brown (shunt sense lead - batt side)
          Pin 4: White (volt sense) Pin 5: Red (meter power pos)
          Pin 5: Red (meter power pos)
