What is the best setting for a charge controller (PWM) where there is always some load? I have programmed settings appropriate for my battery bank type (48V, FLA), but I wonder if the charging voltage should be adjusted for the load.
What say the experts?
My specific hardware:
8x 100W PV solar panels,
Morningstar TS-45,
8x T-105RE
1000W inverter (50W base)
48-12 DC-DC converter (10W base)
I have a volt meter connected in order to monitor the battery voltage. I have not seen voltage higher than 52.4, which seems perfectly fine, but I want to make sure the batteries are charged to maximum SOC given some voltage drop from a constant load.
