    Looking for Opinions

My next door neighbour had a Solar hot ware system installed in/at his house and I'm trying to understand the mindset of the installing company. With my neighbours concent I took a few pictures of his collector system after I noticed it started going through his roof. He was extremely happy I noticed it for neither him or his wife did. I've seen many systems on houses but never in my life installed this way. Hopefully I can upload the pictures for the review of all and get proper feedback from those who know more than I. I noticed that the section between the third and forth collecter was bending inwards, what was happening was the snow was pulling the collector legs downwards ripping gouges through the metal roofing. I've never seen any system installed along the slope of the roof, electric or hot water. This system has left areas to trap air everywhere and the only auto air vent isn't actually at the highest point of this system.. OK uploading photo's for you to look at, hopefully you will have the answers needed to get this system set up properly, I'm thinking a ground array set high enough off the ground.

Well it shouldn't be a drain back with the way the piping is run so It must be a closed loop glycol.
I hope they put in a heat dump of some sort or the glycol in that system is going to turn to an acidic goop in a few years.
