  • Need Kingspan system worked on.

I am looking for a tech in the Texas Hill Country to work on my two Kingspan Thermomax SHWH systems. They have collector tubes. One has never worked that I can tell since the Brenham dealer installed and the other one is riddled with errors and is currently down. Possibly a circulation pump or control board. The Kingspan dealer is AWOL and Kingspan offered to look up a solar plumbing company for me and send them here at my cost. Since I sent them proof of many of the errors and the fact that the dealer is AWOL, I figured they would do more. They had no other Kingspan dealers in the San Antonio/Austin area. I have had these systems for nearly three years and it would be nice to get some hot water out of them. Cost for both was over 22,000.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Location is near Llano, TX

    Thanks

Unfortunately, many manufacturers will not warranty their own products unless installed by a licensed dealer but will also not take any responsibility for anything their dealer does to keep the product from working at its best or at all.
I hope you are able to find a local solution and that the cost of rebuilding is small compared to the installation cost.

Try contacting Kingspan and see if they have any dealers near you.

According to them No dealers besides the one that flaked out on me. Kingspan was supposed to contact the dealer responsible or find a new one. That was weeks ago. Again, no follow up. Would rather find and pay someone else at this point. Too much energy dealing with it already.
