My inspection correction due to labeling AC line inside attic.

The solar inspection passed and was all labeled except the AC run inside the attic wasn't labeled for solar, it was plain 8/3+g Romex. We're talking about the "inaccessible" portion needing the stickers on them. He scoffed at why they are requiring it for AC now but still left the correction.

Is this new or is it less frequent since AC runs are typically short conduit when the inverter is next to the MPU?
